Kane Gurkha Shorts in White (AFA SH016)
The Gurkha Short has a long, military history and as its name suggests, Nepalese origins. It was originally part of the uniform of the Gurkhas but was later adopted by the British army for warmer climates.
Gurkha shorts are typically pleated and wide-leg to facilitate movement, cut from a cotton twill for durability and fitted with an adjustable buckled waistband (the reason for which alludes to the original wearers and purpose of the garment). We haven't deviated very much from traditional gurkha shorts with Kane. Pleats and a wide-leg silhouette increase air-flow in humid climates and the adjustable buckled waistband accommodates a range of waistlines.
The Kane Gurkha Shorts are fitted with double pleats, side pockets, left back pocket with button closure, a metal buckle adjustor and a button fly with hidden button closure.
